Specially, each part of testing has each different score system to analyzing what people is on testing.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thomas.co\/sites\/default\/files\/2019-09\/GIA-Sample-Report-2018.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">public sample of Thomas GIA report<\/a>, there&#8217;s something mechanism to analyzing talent who people in testing.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2633\" src=\"https:\/\/rageworx.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Screenshot-2023-07-07-at-10-06-01-GIA-Sample-Report-2018.pdf.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"944\" height=\"308\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rageworx.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Screenshot-2023-07-07-at-10-06-01-GIA-Sample-Report-2018.pdf.png 944w, https:\/\/rageworx.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Screenshot-2023-07-07-at-10-06-01-GIA-Sample-Report-2018.pdf-768x251.png 768w, https:\/\/rageworx.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/07\/Screenshot-2023-07-07-at-10-06-01-GIA-Sample-Report-2018.pdf-624x204.png 624w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 944px) 100vw, 944px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>How to be calculated \u201cPercentile ranking\u201d for 52\/53 to 93%, but just assuming it is depended on their gathered ranking.<\/p>\n<h4>\u00a0High risk is \u201cReasoning\u201d and \u201cWord meaning\u201d<\/h4>\n<p>\u201cReasoning\u201d may test assuming to check Subject&#8217;s reading &amp; memory to fast answering with different type of asking like this:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Announcement : Jane is smaller than Thomas<\/p>\n<p>Question : Who is taller ?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>And \u201cWord meaning\u201d is simply choose one for different one among of 3 short words like this:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>OUT, IN, PRIM<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>It feels simply easy, but some cases are not to me like this:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>BEAUTIFUL, EAGER, ENTHUSIASTIC<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Two words except \u201cBeautiful\u201d meaning is not familiar to me to understand in really short time.<br \/>\nReasoning only has big minus points to wrong answer, each testing section has different scoring ratios:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reasoning : -1.0<\/li>\n<li>Perceptual speed : -0.25<\/li>\n<li>Number speed and accuracy = -0.5<\/li>\n<li>Spatial visualization = -0.5<\/li>\n<li>Word meaning = -0.5<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In case of sample, that person scored 52 of 53, and 1 wrong answer may -1, then final score goes 52 &#8211; 1 to 51.<br \/>\nAnd at Perceptual speed, that person 42 of 54, wrong answers are 12 but score adjusting as 12 x -0.25 = -3, so final score goes to 39, not 42. (42 &#8211; 3 = 39)<\/p>\n<h3>Better for faster ?<\/h3>\n<p>To make better scoring, it seems to solve more, it means ratio to win grows how many questions be solved. Then get number difference between big and medium. 17-13 goes to 4. And calculate once more to get which number is far from medium, by medium &#8211; (big &#8211; medium) = 13 &#8211; 4 = 9.<br \/>\nAnswer is which is bigger, &#8220;big-medium&#8221; is 4, and minimal number is 5, it means answer is 5.<\/p>\n<p>Number speed is simply which number is far from medium.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>17 &#8230; ( 4 )\u00a0 &#8230; 13 &#8230; (<strong> 8<\/strong>) &#8230; 5<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Also, you can calculate twice as<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>17 &#8211; 13<\/li>\n<li>13 &#8211; 5<\/li>\n<li>which is bigger ?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These two methods are depends on which is faster to me, because more questions and how much accuracy is import to GIA.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>While I am preparing for better result for GIA, found an open source project runs well on bare python and less-dependency-libraries requirements repo on here.
