If your datas be alived until you lost yourself or human being has big war with atomic bombs, Don’t use seagate HDDs.
In case of me, a years ago, Had an experience my 500GB HDD (it was OEM of HP) just turned to death and it doesn’t like to boot even its spindle motor is running well.
It was the famous accient of HELL-GATE: Seagate firmware BSY error – Some Almost seagate HDD failed load firmware in sector 0, and then it going dead like a magnetic heavy brick.
When it happend to user, hellgate HDD not be recognized in BIOS of PC. It just turned to dead even its motors are still working.
After that mass accident, I have spend many bucks to recover HDD and determinded I will not, never buy hellgate again.
People who read this words, you should worry about just dying HDD if your slot fasten with label of “Seagate”.
