About a year ago, I found that the Kioxia Exceria microSD series was updated for the next generation — the G3. I haven’t caught up with their updates yet.
I bought two different capacities of microSD cards to test their performance.
Performance conclusion
According to the manufacturer’s explanation, the G2 and G3 should have different performance in terms of writing and 4K random access. However, it appears that microSD form factor drives are not actually impacted as explained.
But I can sense that this microSD card has good performance and is worth the money these days due to the semiconductor impact.
