A Motive
I found an article about the best micro SD cards, which were the HIKsemi Neo series. I realized that I have two capacities of the HIKsemi NEO LUX series. I decided to test my microSD cards.
I believe the HIKsemi NEO LUX is not part of the same product line as the NEO, such as the NEO HOME. However, HIKsemi may not have made the LUX series with poor performance.
Performance
Conclusion
The results were impressive. The 128GB microSD card performed well, as expected. However, the 256GB card did not perform as well. I tested a 256 GB microSD card in two different USB 3.0 readers, but the results were almost the same. I think the 256GB product line focused on capacity rather than good writing performance.
