Evantually, wait in a week for long for DHL, it arrived to my hand. I don’t understand why the Seoul Customs holded it for long (about 2 days for processing), is it seems to looks like something special, hugh? Nah…
Ok, I’ve got it from Hong Kong, and I could it make turn on. Before there main review, I have checked from box to phone itself. Doogee X5 Pro came to only one bundle box and additional option for protecting cover case with tempered glass for front screen. Both of are product of Doogee.
Basically Doogee X5 Pro provides phone itself, small folded multi-language really simple manual, looks strong micro USB cable and useless USB power supply. Don’t try to use USB power supply if you have spare – or already have another – power, it only supply 700mA in 2015.
Doogee X5 Pro shape is much simple as like before in experience of LG Optimus BIG – junk’em – and really simple. So I love this shape for comfort to use. Additional flip cover case is just for use in short term for enjoying my new phone need protected in a while until be bored. Feeling of synthetic leather is very smooth, good.
I had determined to termpered glass may put on screen in next time if pre-glued shelt film life expired. Actually I don’t recommend tempered glass with cover case, flip cover may not fit on fron screen becase its thickness.
Size of X5 Pro is similar like LG/Google Nexus 4. Screen and resolution is littel bigger, And toching navigation key is much better than soft navi – really ! I don’t wanna understand LG to use soft navi in their flagship models for saving product cost, it’s really like junk.
Battery shell need open from side of right if you watch on back, other side of power and volume rocker buttons. Easy way is just tearing with nail for remove shell. Battery shell material is Poly-Cabornate as like most Android devices.
Each slots in order of TFlash, SIM1 and SIM2, above battery is much nice to use. But it is not possible to remove or attach TFlash and SIM cards with battery placed. I need remove battery to put new TFlash and SIM card.
Doogee X5 Pro support dual-standby in all networks : 2G/GSM to 4G/LTE. Actually this phone planed to use for office and local prepaid SIM for overseas business trip. I could use both of different network providers in different SIM slots.
Doogee X5 Pro is really economic recommendable product if you want sub-phone for work, long overseas trip. But you need understand how much is it and some parts are made in low cost like below image. But it seems to do not worry about looks like weak point. It actually not weak as like seen.
