I bought a PCI card for my latest PC for extend my old P-ATA DVD-RW becaused new mainboard not supports PATA  anymore even it doesn’t have 6 more SATA ports to use all my HDDs. So I look up cheap but functional PCI RAID card from AliExpress, then I successfully bought one.

I paid totally 7.9 USD and get it 2 weeks later from China to South Korea. Eventually I could connect my old DVD-RW and could it be accessed in normally without using P-ATA to USB converter.

Now I am happy to don’t need to open chasis and connect converter to USB port again. Thanks VIA, Thanks AliExpress.

It doesn’t need to install new windows driver in Windows 7 64bit professional (K). It automatically identified my old DVD-RW drive and I could burn new DVD-R disc at once with Infra Recorder 64bit.

This RAID PCI card supports totally 2 SATA-2 ports ( 2 SATA-2 ports are shared, beside PATA and outter one ) and 1 PATA (DMA133). But I don’t know how it be entered to configure RAID, maybe it will be possible to work in first POST screen of boot up, but I didn’t tried to enter configuration screen to bind any RAID, actually I didn’t connected any SATA-2 ports. Maybe I will be try to next time.
